Marketing & Event Coordinator (Part-Time, In-Person)

Carleton Place Store (Opening April 2026) Position Type: Part-Time (with potential to grow into full-time as the business expands — not guaranteed) Location: In-person / On-site + event travel Compensation: Hourly + 5% commission on sales at markets and external events attended (only) ​ About North + Rose ​ We are looking for a reliable, creative, and personable Marketing & Event Coordinator to work directly alongside the founder in-person. This role is ideal for someone who loves content creation, enjoys connecting with customers, and thrives in a fast-paced small business environment. ​ Responsibilities Social Media & Content Creation (In-Person) ​ Create and capture high-quality content on-site (Reels, Stories, TikToks, behind-the-scenes) Support weekly content planning (based on launches, products, studio days and events) Edit short-form video content and assist with posting consistently Maintain North + Rose brand tone, aesthetic, and luxury look & feel across all content Support engagement as required (stories, comments, occasional DMs) ​ Markets & External Events (Weekends Required) ​ Attend local markets/pop-ups/events as the face of North + Rose Provide exceptional customer service and confidently drive in-person sales Educate customers on scent notes, product benefits, and brand story Capture content during markets/events for social media Assist with basic event setup/pack-up (no market booth planning required) ​ 📌 Important: The 5% commission applies ONLY to sales from the markets and external events you attend. Studio Coordinator (Production + Fulfillment) (Part-Time)

Carleton Place Store (Opening April 2026) Position Type: Part-time (opportunity to grow with the business) Location: In-studio (Ottawa area) Compensation: Hourly About the Role ​ We’re looking for a Studio Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations behind the scenes — including production of candles and home fragrance products, order fulfillment, and occasional support on the retail/cash side when needed. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a busy environment, loves working with their hands, and takes pride in quality and precision. Responsibilities ​ Production Produce candles and home fragrance products following brand standards Prepare vessels, wicks, labels, packaging, and product components Maintain consistent quality across batches and scents Support seasonal launches and high-volume production periods Fulfillment & Inventory Pick/pack orders with care and accuracy Prepare shipping labels and ensure orders are completed on time Organize inventory and restock supplies Assist with keeping studio organized, clean, and efficient Support Tasks Assist at the cash/register when needed Help with studio organization, cleaning, and workflow improvements Troubleshoot issues and solve problems independently What We’re Looking For ​ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Extreme attention to detail (quality control is everything) Strong problem-solving skills Able to work independently and stay on task Reliable, trustworthy, and motivated Works efficiently while keeping standards high ​ Ideal Candidate Traits ​ You take initiative and don’t need constant direction You love systems, organization, and a well-run workspace You enjoy repetitive tasks and take pride in doing them perfectly You can handle pressure during busy seasons and deadlines Why This Role Is Special ​ You’ll play a key behind-the-scenes role in a fast-growing small business during an exciting expansion phase Your work directly impacts customer experience — quality, packaging, and fulfillment are everything at North + Rose You’ll be part of a brand that values craftsmanship, clean ingredients, and elevated details You’ll work in a creative, hands-on studio environment with clear standards and training provided Opportunity to grow with the business over time and take on more responsibility as operations expand ​ Requirements ​ Must be available to work in-person / on-site (this is not a remote role) Able to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet deadlines, especially during launches and peak season Strong ability to follow processes carefully, while also being able to problem-solve independently Comfortable with standing for periods of time, moving around the studio, and completing hands-on tasks (pouring, labeling, packing, lifting boxes) Reliable, consistent, and able to work independently without needing constant direction Must have access to reliable transportation (especially if shifts vary / last-minute help is needed)
